OMG the things we find!

No, this isn't David Copperfield's house levitating a few inches above the ground.   The foundation had settled, but in this case, the problem was fixable.
When we inspected the inside of this electrical panel we were "shocked" to see how many dangerous conditions existed. Before the buyers moved in, they had a licensed electrician make all the necessary corrections.
Roofing wears out over time. You need to know if that time is near so that you can talk to the seller about it or set aside  money to make repairs yourself.
Termite Inspections are usually done a few weeks after the home inspection.  We are licensed to do both.  We'll keep an eye out for termites during the home inspection and can be hired to come back later to perform a thorough termite inspection.
Here's something important you probably never would detect on your own - aluminum wiring.  The photo to the left shows copper and aluminum wires inside a circuit breaker box. Problems can occur over time with aluminum wiring connecting outlets and switches. We'll look for it and tell you if there is cause for concern if we find it.
A seller placed this drip-catcher in his attic to hide a roof leak problem.  Imagine it filling up and breaking through the ceiling some night! Glad we spotted it for our buyer.
We think solar water heating is terrific and we'll tell you all about it. We like to examine the panels up on roof if we can. The panels at this house are leaking and need attention.
What is that thing to the right of my kitchen sink faucet?  It's part of the dishwasher drain line and the one on the left is leaking - badly.  Instead of dumping dirty water into the disposal, this one is dumping water out onto the counter. That's why we check dishwashers.
What could be more lovely than a palm tree swaying in the wind? We like to go up on the roof to make sure the trees are properly pruned.  Over time they can scruff up the roofing.
Click on the photo to the left to see what we call a "pinhole" leak.  Not only does the needle like stream waste water, it keeps the floor structure wet, which leads to other problems.
Whoa! A roof geiser! Another in our water-run-wild series, this time up on the roof at the solar water panels. Something told us this was not a new problem.  The solar water guy we recommended, came out the next day and fixed it in ten minutes.
You don't see outlets like this very often. In the old days, before outlets were grounded, this one allowed you to plug in four appliances at one outlet (just so long as they weren't your toaster, hair dryer, steam iron and waffle maker).
Plumbing vents help keep smelly sewer gas from entering the home - except when they are located directly under a bedroom window! We are not code experts, but this one was an easy one to spot. An extension on the pipe took care of it.
